    Baked “Fries”

Who doesn’t love French Fries?! I love fries, but I don’t love fatty and salty foods. Baked fries are a healthy alternative to traditional fries. First, preheat your oven to 450°. Then, cut one Russet Potato into wedges. Place wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. I don’t use a lot of oil when cooking, so I drizzled water over the potato wedges and then added seasoning. I used water because I wanted the wedges to be crispy on the outside, but still soft on the inside. I added garlic powder and cumin (I know it sounds weird). Just use whatever seasoning you like. Then you bake the wedges for…

    Looking Out

I don’t usually write about extremely personal experiences, but I feel that I need to tell this… It was just a normal day. I went shopping and everything seemed fine. I was in line checking out and someone stood in line behind me, which is a normal thing. But, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I instantly felt uncomfortable even though nothing was wrong at that moment. The man behind me was mumbling and breathing heavily. I was panicking on the inside and it felt like the cashier was taking ages to ring up my items. The man kept moving closer and closer to me. I…

    Breakfast Smoothie + 200 Follows

I’ve probably posted a smoothie recipe already, but I wanted to post an updated one. Lately, I’ve been loving a smoothie in the morning before I workout. I don’t have a full size blender, I have a ninja single serve blender so keep that in mind when following this recipe. Ingredients: 1 banana At least 1 cup of frozen mixed berries I cup of spinach or 1 tbsp of Super Greens Powder 1 tbsp of ground flax seed 1 tsp of cinnamon Splash of aloe vera juice Splash of plant-based milk (I typically use soy or cashew) This smoothie fills me up and aids in digestion. Also, the high fruit…

    Chasing Sunsets

I had some spare time a few days ago so I decided to watch the sunset. Many people go through their life on auto-pilot. They go to work, they eat, and they sleep. We get so caught up in our routines. Sometimes I just like to disconnect and take time to enjoy pretty sunsets and nature walks.       I hope you enjoyed my amateur photography! All photos are taken by me of course. ___________________________________________ Social Media ♥ Instagram | Tumblr Earth-Friendly Products ~ Babo Botanicals | Green Kid Crafts *My blog contains affiliate links. Summer Love

Summer always gives me a feeling of bliss. I love summer and I love how magical it can be. As cheesy as it sounds, anything can happen during summer time. You’re free from school and from the barren winter. Kids are cheerful and adults reminisce. Sweet treats are abundant. Family picnics are common and young love flourishes. Make this summer one to remember! ____________________________________________________ Connect with me on social media ♥ Instagram | Tumblr  Earth-friendly products ~ Green Kid Crafts , Babo Botanicals Earn money blogging ~ ShareASale *My blog contains affiliate links, however this doesn’t affect my opinion.
