Update // Goals

Like most people, I set intentions for 2018 following the New Year. I have had some comments asking me to do an update, so here you go! If you are a new reader or haven’t seen my goals post ~ HERE IT IS. I didn’t set time restrictions for my goals because I thought that it would be too stressful. However, I should have put a loose time frame so that I would stay somewhat motivated.

Anyway, the first goal I had-was to stop comparing myself to others. I haven’t completely mastered this, but I have improved greatly. Something that has helped me is to delete certain accounts on social media. Also, I just don’t spend as much time on social media unless it’s blog related. I also am more honest with myself and others. I try to avoid perfectionism.

Another goal I had-was to make travel plans. Honestly, I haven’t done this. I haven’t made any plans. The only thing I have done is save money. I guess that is a start.

I said, “buy a new camera” on my goals list. I did buy a new camera, so I can check that off. Let me know if you want a separate review post about this. I can also check off, “write more”, “stick with my blog/instagram”, and “creating more vegan recipes”. I also wanted to get back into minimalism. This is an ongoing goal. I work on letting go of material items, but it is easier said than done.

I also wanted to stay consistent with my school work and exercise. I am keeping up with my school work, but I have been slacking with working out. I still workout, but I haven’t been following a schedule.

I also find myself saying “yes” to more opportunities. Which is good since it’s one of my goals, but it is also good in general to be more open. Another goal I made was to learn more about nature and food photography. I am not traditionally trained in photography, but I have been teaching myself. I do my own research to improve my skills. My last goal in that post, was to finish my e-book. I haven’t even  looked at in a while. However, the recipes are nearly done. I just need to design it and finish taking photos.

I hope you enjoyed this fairly boring update. I have some blog posts planned. But if you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me in the comments. Thanks for reading!
