    August Captures

August was the month of golden light.  Luckily, I was at the right place at the right time and my photos turned out illuminated. To some of you I might sound arrogant, but I am just explaining my work and taking pride in my passions. I digress… These are just some of the photos I took in August. You might think I titled this “lock and key” to be obscure and deep, but it’s really because I took a cool picture of a lock. Not everything is a hidden message with me. The sunsets this month were one of a kind. I thoroughly enjoyed the month of August (up until…

    Sweet Treats for Vegans

Following a vegan lifestyle shouldn’t feel limiting! You don’t need to say goodbye to your favorite treats when you adopt a plant-based diet. Only a few easy substitutions are needed! I have three sweet treats that I want to share. They are fully vegan and beginner friendly. Pin This ⇓♥ 1. Lemon Blueberry Bread I cheated on this one because it’s barely homemade. ETHEREAL ~ of or relating to the regions beyond earth. Celestial, heavenly, unworldly, and spiritual. I’ve been really inspired by this concept and it has manifested in my photography. I mostly share the photos I have taken with my camera, but I like how some of my recent iPhone photos turned out and they (in my mind) fit the ethereal aesthetic. A little bit ago, I wrote a post about taking quality photos with a smart phone. Well…I somehow accidentally deleted that and it’s not even in my trash folder. So think of this as round 2. Please enjoy my photos and tips! The best camera you can have is…

Quick Vegan Meals | Summer Edition

Summer can be a very busy time. Most of us can’t be bothered to cook elaborate meals, especially when we would rather be outside or hanging out with friends. These meals are super simple and also fresh and light (inspired by summer). I hope you enjoy these healthy vegan meals. Pin This ♥⇓ 1. Greek Orzo Salad This is something I ate a lot prior to being vegan. My family used to make this with chicken and feta cheese, but now I just omit those ingredients. This is a good dish to meal prep because it serves about 2-4 and it stays well in the refrigerator. Ingredients… 1/2 Package of orzo…

    I Want to be Great

We all want to, right? We all want greatness and we all want to be successful. But what happens when you get too caught up in it? Perfectionism in combination with impatience can be debilitating at times. I am usually driven and this is partly because I strive for flawlessness. Not flawlessness in a beauty sense, but I hate mistakes and they easily upset me. On the other hand, focusing on goals and aspirations typically gives me more energy. I enjoy hard work and achieving goals I set. The pros, for the most part, outweigh the cons. What happens when they don’t? At times, it can seem like too much.…
