Blooming | Spring Flowers

I don’t talk about my love of nature quite enough! Before I ever snapped a photo of my food, I was outside capturing what I found inspiring.

I always talk about how preoccupied I am. It’s true! I am in my last semester of college, I work, I have this blog, I have an eBook coming out soon, and I try to be social. I am not sharing this to garner sympathy. I am sharing this because we all have responsibilities and we don’t always have time for other interests. When I have extra time, I basically force myself to do something I enjoy. The point I am getting to is – I took these photos for self-care. I made myself take photos of flowers because I knew I would have fun and feel better.

Where I live, we don’t normally get an abundance of flowers. I am grateful that I was able to capture these.

“The beautiful spring came; and when Nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also.” – Harriet Ann Jacobs. I hope this is a nice break from my normal content! My next post will be a sweet treat recipe. Thank you for reading and have a great week!

  1. Nice photos 🙂 I used to take photos as a form of creative expression, but stopped a while ago. Now the sun is here, perhaps I will take my own flower pics.
