It’s that time again! Time for me to share my food photos, because I’m that person. I used to eat food, but now I just take pictures of it. Just joking, I still eat my food (30 minutes later). People seem to enjoy these posts, so I am continuing this series! Since I’ve settled into my new place I have kept a fairly consistent layout/background, in the past I was all over the place. It’s definitely not perfect, but I am liking how my photos turn out most of the time.
Here are all my food photos from July! I typically do a darker background and minimal props. I might incorporate more, but I am usually in a hurry. If I don’t know what to do with the photo, I just center the bowl or plate. Lighting can be tricky because I don’t have very big windows and I wake up late since I work overnight. I try to do my best with what I have and I’ll adjust the brightness after the fact. I try not to beat myself up because at the end of the day-this is a hobby. This month I took photos with my phone and dslr and I switched up how I edited them. If you want the recipe, I can make a separate post. As always, everything is vegan. I had a really good July overall! I got to spend time with my sister and I spent a lot of time in nature. I am not excited for classes to start up again though. Did you do anything interesting this month? Tell me in the comments.
